snow wanderers:the lost region chapter 4

The night sky was so dark that it could lull an owl to sleep. There was no moon showing in the sky. Wave jumped onto the cliff to scout for enemies. His white fur stood on end. He had a feeling that something bad was going to happen. Suddenly, a rustle came from a bush and what seemed like the whole battlepack from the iunric vine* leaped out from some undergrowth. All the other wolves in Wave's pack woke up and leaped into action.
"Attack!'' shouted a group of wolves. A group of Wave's wolves tried to push a enemy off the cliff and ended up knocking a boulder off a heap of snow. It knocked Wave unconscious and pushed him off the mountain. Suddenly, what seemed like a wolf from Wave's pack leaped into midair and tried to attack him, but jumped back onto the mountain. Wave got tossed around because of the high winds. He ended up in a snowdrift far away from the mountain. When he woke up, he appeared to be moving . Wave looked down and saw that he was flying higher and higher into the  air. He appeared to be on a strange object piloted by humans!

The Lost Region: Chapter 3

Snow flew outside of the pack's gathering den. In fact, the snow was flying so fiercely, you couldn't see your own paws. The wind sounded like a thousand wolves howling at the moon. It was one of the largest storms in wolf history; strange weather for the month before the moons of the heat bugs. Inside the den,Wave tried to calm down the pack. Their howling was too loud for Wave to hear his own thoughts, let alone his voice. Little did they know an enemy was hiding outdoors.
Wolfclaw stood outdoors, standing guard. His ears twitched as he heard some breathing. "Probably only a rabbit," said Wolfclaw aloud. Suddenly, huge paws took out Wolfclaw with a THUD.
"Do you hear that?' asked one of the wolves. "The storm is knocking on our doors!"
Outside, a bear was lumbering on large paws, creating a huge ruckus. As Wolfclaw awakened, he found himself  sprawled on the ground. The entrance to the den was torn open, and there were screams coming from the inside of it. The bear had an expression of hunger on his face. He was heading for the pups when Wave leaped on the bear's back. The bear lifted his huge paw and knocked Wave off. Wave clattered to the ground. Wolfclaw bared his teeth as he stepped in as he took a lunge at the bear's neck. There was a splatter of blood and the bear stumbled to the ground. It lay still without a sound coming from its body. The wolves gathered around Wave and Wolfclaw and howled cheerfully. Wave and Wolfclaw turned to face each other and touched noses.
